Description:
    DRESS REGULATIONS FOR THE CANADIAN MILITIA, 1907 -- AMENDMENTS

    Dress Regulations for the Canadian Militia, 1907, are amended as follows:--
    Page 41--General Order No. 7 of 1914 is hereby cancelled and the following substituted:

"ROYAL CANADIAN CORPS OF SIGNALS" and "CANADIAN CORPS OF SIGNALS" Units.

FULL DRESS

    Para. 493--Headdress--White Helmet, Wolseley pattern with puggaree of universal pattern.
    Para. 494--Omit.
    Para. 495--Buttons--Corps pattern.
    Para. 496--Trousers and Pantaloons--Blue cloth with a scarlet cloth stripe, 2 inches wide down each side seam.
    Para. 497--Boots and Spurs--Wellington, with steel box spurs.
    Para. 498--Sword and Scabbard--Infantry Pattern.
    Para. 499--Omit.
    Para. 500--Omit.
    Para. 501--Greatcoat--Universal pattern (See para. 11) Shoulder straps to be of the same material as the coat.

DRAB CLOTHING

    Para. 502--Headdress--Cap forage drab (See paras. 9 & 29).
    Para. 503--Jacket--Drab Serge (See para. 30 as amended by G.O. 54 of 1912)
    Para. 504--Breeches--Drab (See Para. 34).
    Para. 505--Trousers--Drab (See para. 35).
    Para. 506--Leggings--Brown, leather of sealed pattern or drab puttees.
    Para. 507--Boots--Ankle, (See Para. 37).
    Para. 508--Spurs--Jack, steel with steel chains, brown straps and shield.
    Para. 509--Belt--"Sam Browne".
    Para. 510--Scabbard--Brown leather.

MESS DRESS

    Para. 511--Jacket--Scarlet cloth, with black cloth roll collar and black pointed cuffs, Cuffs 6 inches deep at the points and 2 1/2 inches behind, a 1 inch slit at the back seam, Shoulder strap of scarlet cloth, 1 3/4 inches wide at the base, tapering to about 1 inch at the point. The shoulder straps are sewn in at the shoulder. Badges of rank in metal. No buttons on the front of the jacket and no gold braid or piping.
    Para. 512--Waistcoat--Black cloth, open in front, no collar, fastened with 4 buttons.

UNDRESS

    Para. 513--Cap, forage--Universal pattern, blue, with blue welts and black oakleaf band.
    Para. 514--Jacket--Universal pattern blue Serge.

WINTER DRESS

    Para. 515--Fur Cap--Black Persian Lamb (folding in a manner similar to Glengarry) wedge shaped, 6 inches high in front, 7 inches behind.
    Para. 516--Fur Gauntlets--Black Persian Lamb, black leather palms.
