| A personal account of WW I by a Signaller of the 50th Battalion. The book contains some interesting anecdotes on signalling equipment and duties in those difficult conditions. Unlike other works, this one is a more recent set of writings based on Mr Wheeler's diaries, reference books, war diaries and his comrade's materials. As such, it contains a considerable amount of 'patriotism' and hind-sight that detracts from the overall information. |
