This Canadian Military Pattern (CMP) vehicle is a 3-ton (60 c.w.t) vehicle manufactured by General Motors. Used by RC Sigs in Div, Corps and Line of Communication (L of C) formation headquarters as a cipher office, it contained two cipher machines and provided desk and seat space for operators and clerks coding and decoding messages. The cipher office vehicle was also equiped with a side penthouse for working outside the vehicle.
