Full Name:    Canadian Corps Signal Company (Canadain Engineers)
Information:
The Canadian Corps Signal Company, Canadian Engineers (CE) was organized at the Canadian Engineers Training Depot, Shorncliffe in September 1915 as the Canadian Corps Headquarters Signal Company Royal Engineers (RE). Commanded by Captain R.H. Willan, the company was composed of headquarters, No. 29 Airline Section and No. 31 Airline Section, R. Cable Section, and AD Cable Section, all RE. The company arrived in France on 15 September 1915. Canadian Cable and airline sections joined the company after May 1916. The Canadian Corps Headquarters Signal Company Royal Engineers became the Canadian Corps Signal Company, C.E. on 23 January 1917.
