A photo of 1 Line Section, part of 1st Canadian Corps Signals, taken at Wageningen Netherlands on 5 May 1945. That day, the section laid the line for the Canadian German telephone linkup on the day the German Forces in the Netherlands surrendered.

Kneeling centered in the front row is Captain Frank Reardon, Officer Commanding 1 Line Section. Kneeling front left is Sergeant Stacy.
