5th Signal Battalion
Active 1 September 1921 – 1929
Garrison/HQ Quebec City, Quebec

5th Signal Battalion was authorized by General Order 56 of 1920 and organized by General Order 167 of 1922. The organization consisted of a Battalion Headquarters, No. 5 Signal Company, No. 20 Signal Company and, attached for administration and discipline, 4th Signal Troop. The organizational authority however did not allow additional expenses and so the new portions of the unit (HQ and No. 20 Signal Company) were to be organized only to the extent of appointing Officers.[1]

5th Signal Battalion was redesignated "5th Divisional Signals" in 1929.[2]
