Description
(88 Signal Regiment related photo): On route to Ceasefire Line, Iran. Iranians were blowing up their own bridges to slow down the Iraqi advance. Fording with vehicles was a daily challenge in a number of places. Traveling 50 kilometers could take up to 2 or 3 hours, depending on the route that was planned out for that particular monitor visit.
