"Montgomery's Signals H.Q. Field Marshal Montgomery at his tactical headquarters was server by a telephone and telegraph service on wheels equal to many a central post office in a good size English town. Each separate vehicle weighed more than three tons. The vehicles were landed in Normandy during the first week of the invasion and went with Montgomery right through to Hamburg before the surrender of the Germans.

Vehicles are Bedford QL type.
