A photo from Gordon Rolfe's NWT&Y photo album from 1933-37.
Caption: Don Brady, prospector, made a gold find on Outpost Island (40 miles from Resolution) in 1936. Property became "Slave Lake Mines" operated by Ventures Ltd. It closed down and was abandoned in 1938. Don was a frequent visitor to our ratio station.
