Description
Brigadier General Christie, first Commander SSF, presenting the 1978 SSF HQ & Signal Sqn SMG shooting team with their prize for beating out the Airborne team at the CFB Petawawa annual shooting competition.
Soldiers are wearing Field dress consisting of combats with beret. Note the SSF patch on the shoulder. Brigadier General Christie is wearing garrison dress which was combat boots, work dress pants, camouflage jump smock with SSF patches on the shoulders and beret.
