Her Royal Highness Anne, Princess Royal (Anne Elizabeth Alice Louise; born 15 August 1950) is the second child and only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. The seventh holder of the title Princess Royal, Anne is known for her charitable work, being the patron of over 200 organisations, and she carries out about 500 royal engagements and public appearances per year.

Colonel-in-Chief

After the death of HRH Mary, Princess Royal 1965, a new Colonel-in-Chief was not immediately appointed. This situation existed until 11 June 1977 when Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth appointed her daughter, HRH The Princess Anne, Colonel-in-Chief of the Communications and Electronics Branch.

1979 Visit to Kingston (12 Nov - Kingston, Ontario)[2]
2003 C&E Branch Centennial Visit to Kingston (29 Aug - 1 Sep - Kingston, Ontario)[3]
2010 Visit to Task Force Kandahar (1 Mar - Kandahar Afghanistan) - While not solely a Branch event, she did meet with members of Task Force Kandahar Signal Squadron.
2013 C&E Branch 110th Anniversary Visit to Kingston (22-26 Oct - Kingston, Ontario)
