RC Sigs Reserve Signal Regiment and Signal Squadron War Establishment
Effective from 1950
Country Canada
The post-Second World War re-organization of the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals Reserve Force units eliminated all independent units smaller than a squadron. A Signal Regiment consisted of a Headquarters, a HQ Squadron and three identical Training Squadrons. The Training Squadron was broken down into troops as follows: Wireless, Despatch Rider, Line, Technical Maintenance and Signal Office. An independent Signal Squadron was the same as a Training Squadron with the addition of an administrative increment added to the Squadron Headquarters.[1]
