The Wireless Telegraph Set Trench 130 watt Wilson, also known as the Wilson Set was a transmitter used for Division to Corps communications and Corps Directing Station use during the Great War. As the Wilson Set was a transmitter only, it was normally used in conjunction with a Tuner Short Wave Mk III as a receiver. The set used an aerial was a wire 55, 75 or 95 yards long depending on wavelength, supported by 2 30 ft steel masts, and 14 ft earth net and was powered by a 26V or 28V accumulator.[1]
