Photo of No. 3 Section, 3rd Canadian Divisional Signal Company taken between July and November 1917. No. 3 Section was assigned to support 8th Canadian Infantry Brigade.

What is extremely interesting is that 15 of the members are wearing badges for the Canadian Signalling Corps. Directives at the time said that those without prior service with the CSC were to wear the badges of the Canadian Engineers, the parent Corps of the Signalling Service during the First World War. It is clear this policy was not being followed in this unit.
