4 Signal Squadron on exercise (2)

Caption: Telephone System Travels With Troops .... Operating a 125 line switchboard, personnel of 4 Signal Squadron, part of Canada's NATO Brigade in Germany, maintain constant communication with dispersed troops on field exercises. Seen at the switchboard is Signalman Jim Allen ready to take over his relief operator, Signalman Ernie Radcliffe. They have been constantly practicing and improving their methods during recent training at Soltau in Northern Germany.
