The Active Force Brigade Group Signal Squadron
Active 20 June 1949 – 16 May 1953

The Active Force Brigade Group Signal Troop was authorized effective 20 June 1949 when 23rd Brigade Group Signal Troop was redesignated.[1]

The unit was increased in size and redesignated The Active Force Brigade Group Signal Squadron effective 15 August 1950.[2]

The unit was redesignated No. 1 Airborne Signal Squadron effective 16 May 1953.[3]
